Understand Sequence Rate of Each Aspect of Development...

1.1 Explain the sequence amp; rate of each aspect of development that would normally be expected in children amp; young people from birth -19 years Development is what happens to every individual at every stage of his or her lives. Developing something means to learn different skills, physical aspects and involves gaining control of the body. For example, a baby will develop physically because it is still going to grow, which means the body will still be changing. Another example is if an older person is learning a new skill, like how to use a computer. That person’s computer skills are developing as he/she is learning a new skill and is gaining control over it physically and mentally. For example, when they are looking for a job they will be equipped with a good development of knowledge and intellectual skills, which will result to a better job. Another example is if when a child attends school, they will be able to learn and dev elop quickly which will result to better grades. Good growth on the other hand, enables a child to have a healthy weight, height and an overall healthy body. Good growth also helps a child’s development. Physical growth and size Physical growth occurs from 0 to 18 years. This is from the time the baby is born to the time the baby matures. The child will grow according to the individual child and the different parts of its body; this also depends on the rate that the child will grow at throughout the years. The child may experience a ‘growth spurt’, which is when the body tends to grow at a much faster pace than the child’s usual growth rate. Parts of the body also grow quicker than other parts at different times. For example, usually a baby’s head is larger than the rest of the body when born. As the baby grows, the head becomes smaller in proportion to the rest of the body parts. Health professionals monitor babies’ growth using a chart called the ‘Centile Chart’. Midwives and health visitors usually measure and weigh babies and children and then plot the measurements on theShow MoreRelatedExplain the Sequence and Rate of Each Aspect of Development from Birth - 19 Years1105 Words   |  5 PagesUnit 1 Child and Young Person Development Learning Outcome: Understand the expected pattern of development for children and young people from birth - 19 years. Movie Analysis A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

Starting Drama A well-known phrase in the English language is, â€Å"a picture is worth a thousand words.† This catchy slogan is commonly used to convey emotion, individuality, and personality in an image. In the film industry, creating movie posters will indefinitely be a part of the phrase above. According to Alexander (2011), â€Å"a movies poster encompasses the message and feeling of the film, it should be the main source of attention for the release of a new movie† (n.p.). For this project I chose the genre, Drama. Within this genre, I chose three movies that are very diverse to analyze. The movies that I chose were, Holes, Gone Girl, and The Shawshank Redemption. Film Dramas usually focuses on real life issues and struggles; they aim to tell an honest story of the human experience. A movie that is classified as a drama is The Shawshank Redemption. This movie depicts a former banker that was wrongly convicted of murdering his wife and ends up in prison hoping to keep his head up inside of the prison walls. This movie is a perfect example of a drama film; it shows an intense human struggle that could potentially become a reality in the real world. Not only is there just â€Å"Drama† but within the overall category, there are sub-genres of drama. These sub-genres include biography, dramedy, historical, melodrama, romance and tragedy. I would classify Holes as a dramedy and Gone Girl and Shawshank Redemption as a tragedy. Examines alternative theories: Thirty Years War, Hitlers War, Allied failures, Hossback Memorandum, Pacific War, ideology, neutrality, anti-Semitism. The Second World War was not, in spite of its name, the second general war to be fought on a global scale. The previous war that gave it its name, the war of 1914-1918, was in fact only marginally a world war, and indeed in the interwar years it was known simply as the Great War. Eighteenth-century wars had been at least as global in scope as the First World War; the Seven Years war and the war that grew out of the American Revolution had both involved fighting from North America to India. Going back another two centuries, we might even argue that the Anglo-Spanish war that culminated in the Armada was the first world war; Drakes voyage in the Golden Hind had literally carried military action against Spain around the globe. Band Pass Filter

Question: Describe about Band Pass Filter? Answer: Introduction In this project, we have designed an active band pass filter, using the components provided in the list. The op amp has been used as voltage follower. The filters are 2nd order, and cascaded, so they resultant roll off of the band pass filter is 20dB/decade. The coupling capacitors have been included in the circuit. Circuit Designing General Circuit for Band pass filter The general circuit for a band pass filter is: High Pass Filter: Low Pass Filter: Buffer: Calculations Its given that, The mid band gain, G (dB) = 1.9 dB = 1.549 Low frequency cut-off, fL = 273 Hz High frequency cut-off, fH = 6399 Hz Mid band frequency, fm = 1321.7 Hz Thus, Bandwidth, BW = fH fL = 6126 Hz Quality factor, Q = fm/BW = 0.216 Av = 20log(Vout/Vin) = 20log(0.707(1+R1/R2)) Now, for high pass filter, R1/R2 = 0.245 Taking R1 as 10k, R2 = 2.4 k Similarly, for high pass filter, taking R1 as 10k, R2 = 2.4 k Now, fc = 1/2RC Thus, R3 for high pass filter: 1.6 k R3 for low pass filter: 38 k Circuit Design in PSpice We have designed and simulated the circuit in PSpice Schematic. After the first filter is designed, the low pass, high pass and buffer are cascaded to obtain the band pass filter as required. The cascading increases the gain further in the circuit. Image of the breadboard filter Calculation of the transfer function Transfer function of the band pass filter is given by: H(s) = Vo/Vin = Hos/ (s2 + s + 2) = 5.88x106s/(s2 + 3.8x106 + 1.7x106) Where, = 2/CR3 = 3.8x106 Bode Plot using calculated component values Bode Plot using standard component values As all the components have standard values, expect 38 k, it is replaced with 39 k standard resistor. Bode plot obtained from measurements Bode plot for comparison in same figure Laplace Transform of the Transfer Function The transfer function expressed in s-domain is: Measured Values Result and Conclusion The circuit has been designed as per specification, and desired results have been obtained. As the values of calculated components were almost equal to the standard values available, there is no significance difference in the result when calculated components were replaced with the standard components. All the bode plots have been plotted using PSpice AC Sweep analysis. Circuit has been designed and simulated in PSpice Schematic. References Belle A. Shenoi (2006).
